ADDITIONAL GAUGE WHEELS FOR THE DOMINATOR V14 AND THE MILLENNIUM V16
In certain working conditions, as for example on uneven terrain (with ditches and humps) the action of the rake finger wheels on the ground can become too aggressive. This action results in damage to the grass and the presence of dirt in the windrow. A study was carried out to try to avoid this from happening and the kit of gauge wheels was the answer.
One gauge wheel is assembled to each front end of the rake frames. These gauge wheels allow the rake wheels to follow the contours of the ground in an adequate manner. Don't forget that the closing and opening of the machine must be carried out with the machine in movement to facilitate the positioning of the ground wheels.
